A longtime fixture on Pearl Street celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2027, West End Tavern blends Boulder’s laid-back spirit with a deep sense of history. Housed in a building dating back to at least 1906, when it housed Boulder’s Police Station, the tavern pairs rustic charm with a lively, welcoming energy. Inside, it’s warm and unfussy; upstairs, one of Boulder’s premiere rooftop decks invites guests to relax over bourbon, craft beer, and views of the Flatirons. Known for BBQ, bourbon, burgers, and beer, the menu leans into elevated comfort—smoky barbecue, cult-worthy dirty chicken wings, stacked burgers, and seasonal plates—while an extensive whiskey selection anchors the bar.
