Manuela

Manuela opened in LA’s Arts District in 2016 as a distinctly cool, art-forward neighborhood restaurant, developed by Artfarm, the hospitality group co-founded by Manuela and Iwan Wirth of Hauser & Wirth. The menu is contemporary-American with the hyper-seasonal approach that’s a signature of Artfarm projects all over the world. Manuela provides an urban haven, complete with its own courtyard, garden, and private dining room. Art is at the heart: the restaurant is part of the Hauser & Wirth arts complex and the featured collection showcases Paul McCarthy, Mark Bradford, and Raymond Pettibon. There’s also a garden courtyard where organic produce is grown and swiftly incorporated into the flavorful dishes and cocktails, alongside eggs from the restaurant’s own chickens.
