Willamette Valley Visitors Association
At Silver Falls State Park, one of Oregon’s most beloved natural treasures in the Willamette Valley, Tree Climbing at Silver Falls offers a truly unique experience in the Pacific Northwest. Using battery-powered ascenders and specialized equipment, climbers of nearly any ability can rise 100 to 300 feet into the canopy of ancient old-growth trees, gaining a perspective on the forest that few people ever see.
What makes this experience special is its commitment to accessibility. The adaptive program welcomes seniors, individuals with limited mobility, and wheelchair users, with trained guides providing full support throughout. As part of Oregon’s first-ever statewide Wheel the World Accessibility Verified designation, Tree Climbing at Silver Falls shows what outdoor adventure can look like for people with disabilities. The outfitter also offers multi-day courses, climbing instruction, and youth camps.
