IKEA’s Limited-Edition Holiday Food Line Should Not Be Missed This Season

IKEA not only has festive decor for the holiday season, but also some seasonal treats to try. The retailer’s VINTERSAGA collection is now in stores for a limited time only, and features gingerbread treats, seasonal beverages, and more. Now’s your opportunity to build a gingerbread house, IKEA-style.
In addition to the holiday food items, IKEA is hosting its annual Julbord buffet at IKEA stores on December 13. Guests can enjoy ham, marinated salmon, potatoes, eggs, crispbread, cheese, Glögg drink, and of course, the famous Swedish meatballs. To attend the event, you’ll need to purchase tickets in-store—for more details, contact your local store. Prices are $19.99 for adults/$9.99 for kids with the IKEA Family card or $24.99 for adults/$12.99 for kids without the card.
For now, take a look at the winter food options below. You can only buy IKEA’s food items online, so makes sure to head to the store sometime this holiday season before they’re gone.
VINTERSAGA Mulled Fruit Drink, $5
This drink is traditionally served during Christmas in Sweden. It’s flavored with spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger. IKEA suggests serve it steaming hot with raisins and chopped almonds added in, or you can enjoy it cold as is.
