Take a Tour of This Dreamy French Chateau-Inspired Winery
Jordan Winery’s newly redesigned lobby is a masterclass in refined interior design, wine country style.
Nestled in a sprawling 1,200-acre property of vineyards and wildlands, the chateau at Jordan Winery is a luxurious expression of the refined side of the Sonoma County lifestyle and takes its cues from European architecture and history—the better to pair with Jordan’s wines, which are made in the European tradition that emphasizes finesse over raw power. The stunningly renovated new chateau lobby fittingly exudes classic French sophistication. This project was masterfully brought to life by San Francisco’s renowned interior designer, Maria Khouri Haidamus, the same talent behind the 2021 makeover of the Jordan Chateau Guest Suites. Bespoke wall panels, graced with a delicate robin’s egg blue and aged gold detailing, establish a lavish ambiance. Throughout the entry hall, grand salon, corridor, and retail boutique, visitors are treated to the finest materials, timeless antiques, and exquisite art pieces. Handmade wooden floors in a captivating chevron design unify these areas.
