The 10th

Located at the top of Gondola One at Mid-Vail, The 10th is Vail Mountain’s signature on-mountain restaurant, serving upscale, alpine-inspired dishes alongside unobstructed views of the Gore Range. Named in tribute to the United States’ Army’s 10th Mountain Division, the restaurant pairs its history with a modern interior that takes full advantage of its scenic backdrop. Executive Chef Sean Heller brings experience from both New York and Los Angeles, shaping a menu that mixes European and North American alpine traditions. The experience feels polished, but not overly formal, with a focus on seasonal ingredients and shareable dishes. The 10th also offers a range of ways to tailor the experience, from regular lunch and bar menus to larger-format, pre-order offerings like seafood towers and Beef Wellington for two, making lunch on the slopes feel like an occasion.
