Steeps Grill & Wine Bar

Set inside the Roundhouse Lodge atop Whistler Mountain, Steeps Grill & Wine Bar is a full-service restaurant with a distinct connection to British Columbia’s ingredients and wines. The majority of the menu comes from nearby producers, including vegetables and greens from the local Pemberton Valley, salmon and tuna are sourced under Ocean Wise principles, and cheeses from Salt Spring Island, just off the coast of Vancouver. The menu leans into West Coast ingredients with some alpine influences mixed in, without feeling overly composed. Dishes are straightforward and seasonal. It’s an ethos that’s carried through to the wine list, which largely focuses on regional producers with a handful of international bottles mixed in. Steeps also hosts its Winemaker Lunch Series, where visiting wineries are paired with a six-course culinary menu. The pairings change depending on which winery is pouring, so no two lunches feel exactly the same.
