Fig Tree has been a family-owned neighborhood beachside restaurant and bar since 1978. A new chapter emerged in 2020 when Dashiell Nathanson, Matias Moreno Bunge and Sophia Moreno Bunge (also of ISA ISA floral) took over the family restaurant and infused it with a refreshed menu and design concept inspired by their travels to the world’s most sought-after coastal communities. The LA natives bring an approachable yet inspiring California Latin experience, eliciting a romantic vacation abroad. Anchored by its iconic brunch and energized by a thoughtful market dinner, Fig Tree serves everything from plantain/coconut pancakes and chilaquiles, to clams with chorizo and mezcal. Fig Tree’s enthusiasm for market driven plates extends to its cocktails/mocktails which include Spring Crush with makrut lime and pea and the Solaris, a creamy orange Fauxtail as well as delicious Domaine de Majas on tap by the liter.
