Aspen Meadows Resort

The Aspen Meadows Resort is tucked away on 40 acres in Aspen’s West End neighborhood and has just emerged from an identity-defining renovation. Designed by Herbert Bayer in the Bauhaus style, the resort is owned by the famed Aspen Institute, which offers a variety of cultural programming on site, and is operated by the luxe Salamander Collection. It has 98 suites (among the largest in Aspen) which were recently renovated. Art is everywhere—the resort has one of the largest collections of any resort grounds, including the Bayer Center which celebrates the life and work of Bayer himself. The resort’s new restaurant, West End Social, just opened this ski season and brings a vibrant option for shareable plates and specialty drinks after a day on the slopes (with outstanding views of the mountains). Complimentary skier shuttles and a new ski concierge make it an ideal getaway for the culture-loving skier.
