How to Make It

Combine vermouth, whiskey, and bitters in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until well chilled, about 20 seconds. Strain into a lowball glass or coupe, and garnish with 1 or 2 maraschino cherries and/or orange twist.

2 ounces Matthiasson sweet vermouth
1 ounce rye whiskey
2 dashes of orange bitters
1 or 2 good quality maraschino cherries
