Wedded in the Woods of Grand Teton National Park
This adventurous couple chose an epic park for the backdrop of their wedding ceremony
Brittny + Zach are known for their love of adventure. The duo loves to camp, sleep in the back of their old 4Runner, and hit any and all National Parks possible! So it came as no surprise when they announced to their friends + family that they would be having their nuptials at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
Brittny shares: The inspiration for our day came from our love for nature. Three years ago we started an adventure on the road from Phoenix, Arizona all the way to Canada — camping every night and exploring what mother nature has to offer. One of our many stops was Grand Teton National Park. We both fell in love with Jackson and said one day we should get married there. Two years later thats exactly what we did.
How darling is that?! Ready to wander through the forest + get a closer look at all the sweet moments captured by Kylie Morgan? Let’s look!!

Their photographer, Kylie, spills: We ran around exploring the park prior to the ceremony, where they had their first look in the middle of the Teton forest, climbed over rocks and logs to stand against Jenny Lake, and danced in fields of Mormon Row. Brittny looked like an absolute woodland fairy in her creamy two-piece dress, veil handmade by her mom and anklets by the groom’s aunt!

Brittny tells us: We live in Phoenix and all the planning had to be done via email and the phone. As soon as we drove into Jackson — two days before our wedding — we spent the day driving around making sure all the cyber plans were going to work out… We searched local farmer’s markets to collect flowers to make a bouquet, flower crown, boutonnières and centerpieces!

Kylie tells us: B+Z exchanged vows under a big tree overlooking the park with all their friends and family and their sweet pup, River. They chose this location because River wasn’t allowed in the actual park, but they wanted him there so badly that they found another outlook point.

The most important thing we both wanted for our wedding day was to be with our family and to share the love of nature and the outdoors that we both have with them. We kept it extremely small (28 people and River, our dog) so we could spend intimate quality time with each and every one of them. While we were in Jackson, we white water rafted, hiked around the National Park and explored the town with our family and friends allowing life to slow down and to appreciate the small things in life.
