Americana Decor

It’s tempting to call it an Americana summer, but the return of the red, white, and blue color combination dates back to the beginning of the year. More specifically, February 6, 2026, when the country’s most competitive winter athletes were decked out in Ralph Lauren at the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan. With the country’s 250th anniversary fast approaching on July 4, there’s a demand for Americana decor for your home.

“No need to switch out your living room pillows or restyle your bookshelves with stars and stripes,” advises Shane Brown, Founder of Big Daddy’s Antiques & The Well. “For longstanding, non-corny appeal, let the land be your guide. America is so vast and varied—from the desert to the coasts to the forest, every state has its own Americana aesthetic.”

If you want to decorate without overdoing it, we asked Brown and Lucy Condolora, founder and principal designer of Miller James and Mary, for their input. Below, see the items that are style-forward and ready for the 4th.

We only recommend things we love. If you buy something through our site, we might earn a commission.
