We’re thrilled to announce year two of the Sunset Magazine International Spirits Competition. Combined with our international wine competition, which dates back to 2012, the Sunset Wine and Drinks platform is fast becoming one of the most influential platforms for readers across the country seeking advice on what to drink, and how to drink it with style.
“Our coverage of the category has truly resonated with readers—and this year, spirits have never been more relevant. From launching our “Sunset Sips” Instagram series to covering the innovations in distilling and mixology taking place in the West, we’re thrilled to be a part of this conversation. We can’t wait for this year’s results,” said Editor-in-Chief Matt Bean.
Winning producers will be featured in the December release of a Spirits Special with supporting microsite. The edition will be promoted and available for 12 months or until the 2021 Spirit Awards winners are announced. All winners will also receive a medal and license-free graphics of their winning award(s).
The esteemed judging panels represent large-volume buyers, influential media, successful distillers, and other professionals from the spirits industry.
The Sunset Magazine International Spirits Competition will take place on October 20th – 21st, 2020 in Santa Rosa, CA and the deadline for submission is October 16th. For more information on the competition and submission process, click here.
