Nightbird

Nightbird is an intimate boutique restaurant that delivers a whimsical and refined prix-fixe dining experience centered on whole-animal cookery, sustainability, and strong partnerships with local farms. Nestled in the heart of San Francisco’s Hayes Valley, award-winning chef and owner Kim Alter opened Nightbird in 2016 as a tribute to the diverse bounty and cultures across the state of California. Its hyper-seasonal prix fixe menus rotate monthly and are inspired by Chef Kim’s daily visits to the farmers market. In fact, she won’t put anything on her menu that can’t be sourced there or through her local farm partnerships.
