The Taco Stand

Founded in San Diego in 2013, The Taco Stand seeks to bring authentic Tijuana-style tacos to the United States. Drawing inspiration from founders Julian Hakim and Aram Baloyan’s upbringing in the lively border region of Baja California, The Taco Stand celebrates the vibrant flavors and culinary traditions found in North Mexico. The brand draws crowds for its al pastor tacos with handmade corn tortillas, signature carne asada fries, California burritos, and expansive housemade salsa bar. Since opening The Taco Stand’s first taqueria in La Jolla, California, the concept has expanded within San Diego, Orange County, Las Vegas, Miami and Dallas.
