The Lafayette Hotel & Club

The Lafayette Hotel is a 2025 Michelin Key recipient and historic property located in San Diego, California. Originally built in 1946, as a hub for the Hollywood elite, the Lafayette was revived to its golden age status with a $31M renovation by award-winning hospitality group CH Projects. Partnering with Brooklyn-based design firm Post Company, CH Projects reimagined the 2.5 acre property into an immersive, maximalist “city within a city”, boasting seven distinct food and beverage concepts, in addition to the 139 guest rooms. The hotel features a range of guest rooms with rich saturations of color, texture, and patterns to immerse guests in a fanciful experience that is much more than just a place to stay. Lafayette is home to food and beverage offerings including the Lobby Bar, Pool Bar, The Gutter, Beginner’s Diner, Quixote and Lou Lou’s Jungle Room.
