The Lafayette Hotel & Club

The Lafayette Hotel & Club opened in July 2023 in San Diego, CA as a maximalist immersive property by award-winning hospitality group CH Projects. Originally built in 1946, as a hub for the Hollywood elite, the hotel has been revived to its golden age status with a $31M renovation. The historic hotel was reimagined to feature 139-room upgraded rooms, seven restaurants and bars, and an iconic swimming pool. The hotel has a range of guest rooms designed by Brooklyn-based Post Company, with rich saturations of color, texture, and patterns to immerse guests in a fanciful experience that is much more than just a place to stay. The Lafayette is home to food and beverage offerings including the Lobby Bar, Pool Bar, The Gutter, Beginner’s Diner, Quixote and Lou Lou’s Jungle Room. With plans to continue expanding in 2024, The Lafayette will open a new spa, bungalows and a new European restaurant.
