The Hitching Post 2 Restaurant & Tasting Room

This legendary steakhouse is a must-visit in the Santa Ynez Valley with it’s open fire cooking of steaks, poultry, fish and vegetables, complemented by a list of their own Hitching Post Wines. Fans of the film “Sideways” will recognize the setting at the bar that was used in the film. If lucky, you’ll get a glimpse of owner Frank Ostini, easily recognized in his signature pitch helmet. Next door is the Tasting Room which serves Hitching Post lunch with wine tastings.
