The Boat Company

For more than forty years, The Boat Company has offered a different way to experience Alaska. Our small expedition vessels carry just two dozen guests into the wild waterways of the Tongass National Forest, where glaciers, salmon streams, and old-growth rainforest still define the landscape. Rather than crowded ports and rigid schedules, our journeys follow wildlife, weather, and curiosity, kayaking quiet inlets, hiking ancient forests, watching humpback whales’ surface beside the ship, and fishing the rich waters of Southeast Alaska. With an intentionally small footprint and a mission rooted in conservation, every voyage connects guests not only to the wilderness of the Inside Passage, but to the responsibility of protecting it.
