The STEELPORT Knife Co. Factory offers one of Portland’s most distinctive behind-the-scenes experiences: a working artisan knife factory open to the public in Northeast Portland. Home to STEELPORT Knife Co., maker of premium American-forged kitchen knives, the space blends manufacturing, retail, events, and education in one uniquely Portland destination.

Open Monday through Saturday, visitors can shop handcrafted knives and premium culinary tools, take free guided factory tours, learn knife care from the team, and receive free lifetime sharpening for STEELPORT knives.

The factory also hosts public events throughout the year, including a popular monthly knife skills demo series featuring some of the region’s best chefs, along with seasonal artisan marketplaces and culinary showcases highlighting local makers.

A hub for Portland’s food and craft culture, the STEELPORT Factory invites guests to see heirloom-quality kitchen knives handcrafted using all U.S.-sourced materials and discover one of America’s most respected modern knife brands.
