Maggie’s is the flagship restaurant of the newly opened Desolation Hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Maggie’s takes its name from the local Maggie’s Peak hike, a challenging trail beloved by locals and visitors alike for its rewarding views. Maggie’s restaurant and bar sits atop the third story of the hotel, offering 360-degree views of the Sierra Nevadas. The modern American menu features scratch-made meals, fresh pastas (tapping into techniques Chef Chauss learned from his Italian grandmother and brother), a selection of consciously sourced game meats, and a well-rounded collection of vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well.
