Hawkeye and Huckleberry Lounge

Chef Brian Malarkey, a Central Oregon native turned San Diego celebrity chef and restaurateur, returned home with his brother James to open Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge in Bend, Oregon. The name, inspired by Val Kilmer’s famous line as Doc Holliday in the 1993 western film “Tombstone” and Hawkeye Pierce of “M*A*S*H”, reflects the steakhouse’s ‘modern cowboy’ aesthetic. Blending classic film and television glamor with the brothers’ ranching and rodeo roots, the restaurant boasts a warm, welcoming atmosphere, complete with rustic elements and live music to celebrate Oregon’s great outdoors and adventurous spirit.
