Frank Family Vineyards’ ‘Wines of Winston Hill’ Tasting

Having first opened its doors in July 1993, Frank Family’s reputation for having the friendliest hospitality in Napa Valley has fans flocking to the tasting room on Larkmead Lane. Set within the yellow Craftsman tasting room, which consists of intimate rooms and a large patio, the ‘Wines of Winston Hill’ is Frank Family’s most storied tasting. The journey began when Founder Rich Frank purchased a classic Tudor home in Napa’s Rutherford AVA in 1990. Initially, the fruit from the property was sold to neighboring producers. Yet soon, his phone started ringing off the hook with wineries wanting his fruit. He quickly realized he had something special. Named after Rich’s English Springer Spaniel, Winston Hill has remained at the heart of Frank Family’s Cabernet Sauvignon since its inception. This tasting invites guests to discover single vineyard versatility while journeying through wines that all share a common source of origin.
