The story of Chehalem is rooted in a deep and abiding reverence for the land. Founded over 30 years ago, we farm four estate vineyards across three distinct American Viticultural Areas: the Dundee Hills, the Laurelwood District, and Ribbon Ridge, the latter of which are both in the greater Chehalem Mountains. 

We’re proud to be B Corp, LIVE, and Salmon Safe certified, reflecting our commitment to responsible practices from vineyard to bottle, guided by Winemaker Katie Santora.

In late-March 2025, we opened the Tasting Room at Chehalem Estate Vineyard in Sherwood, Oregon, 20-minutes south of Portland. Set among the vines, the space offers breathtaking views of surrounding vineyards, Mount Hood, and Parrett Mountain, creating a sense of place that reflects the landscape behind every wine.
