Central Oregon Astro Tourism

The pristine sky that hovers above Central Oregon—a vast High Desert region that stretches from Sunriver to Sisters and from Prineville to Madras and everywhere in between—is one of its constants. Increasingly amateur astronomers and everyday stargazers are expanding their curiosity for space through astrotourism. With Oregon’s dark skies, there is perhaps no better place to do so in the Pacific Northwest than here in Central Oregon.
