Appellation Lodi – Wine & Roses Resort and Spa is a historic 66-key boutique hotel reimagined by culinary-first brand Appellation, co-founded by Michelin-starred Chef Charlie Palmer, in close collaboration with longtime owners Russ and Kathryn Munson, whose decades-long stewardship has both inspired Lodi’s evolution as a wine destination—quietly boasting more vineyard acreage than Napa/Sonoma combined—and shaped the property into a beloved Lodi landmark.  

Design blends the hotel’s legacy with a modern sensibility, with airy refreshed guest rooms reflecting the region’s agricultural heritage through handcrafted furnishings and vineyard-inspired tones. Expansive grounds feature manicured pathways, outdoor patios with fireplaces, and culinary gardens.
