With the advent of affordable soft-tops and the ease of checking reports on apps like Surfline, the sport of surfing has never seemed more accessible. Or more exciting, especially with the 2024 Olympic Games in Tahiti currently taking place in Teahupo’o. But the reality is, surfing is a really, really tough sport to learn. (Especially if you’re doing it at nearly 40, like me.)
