We’re just a few days away from Disneyland’s highly anticipated 70th anniversary celebration, and there’s a birthday gift for all guests: You can visit the park in Anaheim for $100 per day with a four-day, one-park per day ticket from Friday, May 16 to Thursday, August 14.
These anniversary tickets are valid for nonconsecutive use, too, meaning you can spread out your visits all summer long—a major perk for Southern Californians. Each guest can buy up to five tickets per person for anyone 3 years or older, and Park Hopper upgrades are also available at an additional $95 per person.
The anniversary festivities officially kick off on Friday, May 16 (the first day of the ticket promotion), and at the time of publishing, there were no blackout or sold-out dates on the calendar. Keep in mind that you’ll need to know the exact dates you plan to visit while booking your reservation. And if you’re interested in a three-day pass, there’s one included in the promo offer for $120 per day per person.
Disney fans are gearing up for special events, treats, and more during the anniversary. In preparation, Disneyland officials have created a Foodie Guide (I’ll take one 70th Celebration Churro, please!), added new features to the classic “It’s a Small World” attraction, and have scheduled a new parade with Mickey Mouse and his friends, called The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade. My fellow millennials will appreciate that the Happy show’s new song, “Celebrate Happy” will be performed by the Jonas Brothers.
To make the most of your experience, Disneyland is also selling MagicBand+, a wearable device you can customize and use to enter the parks, and they’ll light up and vibrate during select nighttime shows and attractions.
