In defense of the $3100 dining table

Not just any dining table but an OUT-door dining table. Because I like to eat outside. Year round. And I want somewhere nice to put my essentials like my Heath Ceramics plates (not shown) and hand-dyed linen napkins (not shown).

Not to mention that Scout Regalia, the Los Angeles based design firm, mashed up the materials in a really creative way. You usually see an organic wood grain OR colored metal. Now a little of both.
