Our architecture and interior design have a seamless connection with the landscape—designs that are modern and refined with a depth and richness of material and detail. We believe that dwellings should be innovative, experimental, and comfortable.

Wittman Estes came from the realization that in our cities and surroundings, buildings, and landscapes were being designed as separate entities. We offer clients an integrated design process: foregrounding sustainability, smooth thresholds between inside and outside, a richness of natural materials, and most importantly, how people live in and experience the built spaces they inhabit. We believe that the best designs evolve slowly from a deep engagement with the client’s interests and an understanding of place. We focus on the pragmatics of construction and the honesty of materials. Integrating architecture and landscape is the primary aim of all that we design. We want our designs to be holistic and complete.

Our team of eight architects and designers are focused on bringing a project from concept through finished construction and lived reality. We work closely with fabricators, craftspeople, and artists to custom design and build bespoke furniture, hardware, textiles, and interior and exterior elements that are specific to the vision of the client and design concept.
