You’ve got six more weeks to treat yourself to see Ganna Walska Lotusland in Montecito, CA before it closes on November 14th for the year. (Don’t worry—it reopens in February 2016.)
It’s a great time of year to visit that famed estate of Madame Ganna Walska, the Polish opera singer who collected, among other things, husbands and plants.
The temperatures have cooled, and reservations are easier to come by—possibly even on the same day (impossible in summer).
You must visit with a docent. Tours leave at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Call 805.969.9990 for reservations.
