Madrina Cocina Mexicana is a vibrant new Mexican restaurant in downtown Portland. Madrina brings warmth and energy to the neighborhood while uplifting Latina entrepreneurs and honoring tradition. The restaurant offers an evening dining experience alongside their lunchtime Taqueria y Mercadito. Founder Lucy De Leon brings her culinary traditions to the table, serving handmade dishes while creating a vibrant gathering place for Portland’s Latino community and beyond.

Named for the women in Lucy’s life, Madrina celebrates the spirit of the godmother: a figure of love, strength, service, and community connection.
