The Lobby Bar and Emporium

Fondly known as “Spokane’s Living Room,” the Davenport Hotel unveiled its fully renovated Lobby Bar and Emporium, part of a multi-year transformation celebrating the hotel’s legacy and Gilded Age design. This milestone renovation, coinciding with the hotel’s 110th anniversary, preserves its historic Spanish-inspired architecture while introducing modern amenities and elevated experiences. The Lobby Bar, designed around the hotel’s original historic light posts, offers over 50 seats and a menu that pays homage to the Prohibition era, featuring handcrafted cocktails and light bites. The Emporium is a gourmet coffee shop and artisanal store showcasing signature items—like house-made Soft Peanut Brittle and huckleberry jams native to Washington—alongside local treats, sandwiches, specialty coffee, and a custom marble demonstration slab where guests can watch the famous Peanut Brittle prepared fresh daily. These spaces create an inviting environment that honors the hotel’s storied past while offering a contemporary social gathering experience for guests and locals alike.
