Casitas de Gila Guesthouses has been welcoming visitors to Southwestern New Mexico for 27 years. The Casitas overlook the Gila National Forest and Gila Wilderness, sitting on 265 private and tranquil acres of high desert landscape, where the dominant sounds are those of Nature: the calls of the birds that reside or visit, the murmur of water flowing over the rocks in Bear Creek below the Casitas, the rustling of wind in the canyon trees. Each of the five southwestern guesthouses features a full kitchen, BBQ grill, seasonal fireplace, separate bedroom and bath, and porch. Michael and Becky O’Connor, the owners, are always present to help guests make the most of their visit to the area.
