Hotel El Ganzo

Originally conceived as an artist’s residency space and recording studio, Hotel El Ganzo (meaning the goose) has evolved into an art-centric and eco-friendly hideaway for travelers with a creative mindset. With a spirit deeply rooted in groundbreaking art and culture, the hotel supports artists’ work, making it central to its theme. Their robust musicians-in-residence program has featured artists like Thievery Corporation, Khruangbin, Rufus du Sol, Yo Soy Matt, Kings of Convenience, LP, Julieta Venegas, and many others who have recorded in the hotel’s studio.

El Ganzo is a serious passion project by the local Sanchez Navarro family, who developed the surrounding area known as Puerto Los Cabos. With a huge legacy in the region, they have an environmentally sustainable vision and plans to further develop the destination responsibly, as a cultural epicenter in Mexico.
