Caruso’s

Caruso’s has established itself as one of the finest restaurants in California, earning a Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star for sustainability, James Beard Foundation semi-finalist recognition, and a Forbes Five-Star rating. From spectacular sunset views to a world-class wine list and thoughtful, sustainably sourced seasonal menus, the experience is carefully considered from start to finish.

To create and inspire Caruso’s sustainable menu, Chef Massimo Falsini carefully sources ingredients from local purveyors, including an onsite apiary and additionally producing olive oil and growing his own produce and on a four-acre plot at Vega Vineyard and Farm. In addition to its Michelin Green Star, Falsini and the team’s efforts have led Caruso’s to sustainability awards including a coveted 3 stars in The Sustainable Restaurant Association’s Food Made Good Standard, and recognition as a Smartcatch, OceanWise, and FishChoice ambassador.

Under the direction of Rob Smits, the wine list at Caruso’s has also received acclaim, including a 2026 James Beard semi-finalist nod for best wine beverage program. Through Rob’s curation, Caruso’s offers an extensive yet focused collection that reflects the depth of global and Californian wines, with a comprehensive representation of hyper-local California-based producers alongside mature vintages.
