Velvet Elk

Velvet Elk Lounge is an intimate live music venue and cocktail lounge tucked just off Pearl Street in downtown Boulder. Designed as a cozy, character-filled listening room, the space moves from a welcoming front bar into an intimate performance area, creating a close, immersive connection between artists and audience.

The programming leans eclectic—spanning folk, bluegrass, indie, funk, and DJ sets—while championing both local musicians and touring acts. Inside, retro details like wood paneling, cozy booths, and playful textures give the lounge an easy yet sexy feel.

Behind the bar, classic and bespoke cocktails anchor an elevated focused drinks menu, paired with elevated, shareable bites under the direction of culinary director Kevin Grossi. The result is a laid-back yet thoughtfully curated destination where music, design, and community converge.
