Customize t-shirts or banners at home with this screen printing project

Arts and crafts don’t have to be synonymous with a huge mess. In fact, this DIY screen printing has quite an easy clean-up. Before you start, make sure you have all the tools you’ll need for this project. On the list of must-haves are a screen, stencil film, palette knife, masking tape, spray adhesive, fabric screen printing ink, squeegee, utility blade, printed design, printing surfaces (like a t-shirt), and cardboard. Here, we used a kid’s tee and a vintage-looking pennant for our printing surfaces, but you can get creative and use items like tote bags or pillow covers.
