Anomaly SF

Chef Mike Lanham’s Anomaly SF, a long-standing fine dining pop-up turned restaurant in SF’s Lower Pacific Heights, offers an eleven-course tasting menu built upon seasonal ingredients and an obsession with the craft of cooking. Lanham defines his cuisine as “post-modern,” borrowing from a range of culinary traditions while also subverting expectations to create something new. The restaurant uses sophisticated techniques with intention, going to great lengths to present familiar ingredients in unfamiliar ways. (The beloved dish “An Egg… Sort Of,” for example, actually resembles its namesake, with a spot of egg yolk jam atop a smoky seaweed dashi potato foam.)

Pricing starts at:

$128 for an 11-course tasting menu
