It’s time to plan your weekend! Here with inspiration: our 5 favorite travel finds of the week.

Say prost!Sawtooth Brewery’s Oktoberfest celebration takes over charming Ketchum, Idaho, this weekend with a pop-up beer garden, food trucks, and a home-brewing demo (Sep. 18 – 20).

Or: Cheers!Anaheim hosts its own beer celebration with the third annual Orange County Fest of Ales (Saturday, noon – 4 p.m.).

Taste your way through the BayCheck out Sunset’s future hood, Oakland’s Jack London Square, and sample food and drinks from dozens of Bay Area vendors at Eat Real Fest (Sep. 18 – 20). Come Saturday, and you can meet Associate Garden Editor Lauren Dunec Hoang; she’s giving a succulents demo at 11:30 a.m. at the Palm Plaza. Stop by, and say hello!

Dine in white in L.A.Prepare to flood your Instagram with enviable pics if you attend this year’s PopUp Dinner L.A. on Saturday. The specific location for the “chic picnic” is announced just hours before; participants arrive clad in all white ensembles and share food and drinks; and area musicians perform. Red rum!Let’s end this on a spooky note, shall we? The Stanley Hotel, in Estes Park, Colorado—which inspired Stephen King’s awesomely scary book, The Shining, and the maybe even freakier Jack Nicholson flick of the same name—is finally getting a real life hedge maze.
