Coffee Old Fashioned

The old fashioned is one of the ultimate classic cocktails. This variant from Prairie Rose, author of the book Mixology for Beginners, combines the sweetness of the coffee liqueur, the smokiness of the rye, and the fresh citrus acidity of the orange into a smooth, well-balanced drink, perfect for sipping on a calm evening on the porch watching the beauty of fall.
This recipe, and others like it, came from the article "How to Give Your Cocktails a Fall Twist—and We’re Not Just Talking About Pumpkin."
