Established in 1880, Los Angeles Athletic Club (LAAC) is a historic private members club and a cornerstone of fitness, wellness, and social connection in Downtown Los Angeles, located on the corner of 7th & Olive. Spanning 88,000 square feet, LAAC redefines the concept of a wellness and social club, fostering a sense of community among members and hotel guests. Private training and group sessions are available, as well as access to over 60 weekly fitness classes, athletic courts for squash, handball, racquetball, and basketball, a 25-yard heated lap pool, indoor track, strength & cardio facilities, studios for Pilates, yoga, and stretching, a kickboxing gym, and more. Spacious locker rooms are available and complete with cold plunges, saunas, steam rooms, and Jacuzzis. Beyond athletics, LAAC also features 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space, two restaurants (Famous Players and Invention Bar & Lounge), two bars (Blue Room and Duke’s Sports Bar), expansive co-working spaces, Neptune Spa, nail salon, barber shop, and more.
