Shore Studios make durable, comfortable, colorful outdoor rugs woven by hand in a range of colors and different weaves. They are super innovative designs and feel great on your feet. I love an interesting way to bring color and pattern to the garden. 

If you’re not putting up at least one umbrella outside this summer, you’re missing the memo. With a wide variety of styles to choose from, I particularly love the oversized rick rack trend which is a slight style statement that doesn’t overwhelm the setting with an on-the-nose vintage vibe.

I’m a big fan of George Peterson’s hand-turned wood bowls, and buy them for many of our projects. They’re food-safe and handy in a kitchen, on a table, or outside. Each one is unique, made by hand in North Carolina in different species of wood.
