With these tips for tulip arrangements, you can show off your blooms in style.
Bring in a touch of spring into your home with simple tulip arrangements. Cut the stems short beforehand to help them better absorb water and stay fresh longer. Start by removing the leaves at the base of the stem to prevent the water from browning and to help your flowers last longer. Use your thumb and fingers to support the stem while you peel the leaves off horizontally, not down. Tulips will grow over an inch in the vase! Don’t worry if your flowers droop or go off in different directions–it only adds to the personality of the arrangement.
