Marmol Radziner
Marmol Radziner is an architect-led design-build firm founded in 1989 by Leo Marmol, FAIA, and Ron Radziner, FAIA. Since its inception, the firm has earned a reputation for innovative design and craftsmanship, uniting architecture, construction, landscape architecture, interior design, and fabrication into a single process. This integrated model ensures design integrity and precision from concept through construction, resulting in modern, timeless environments.
Marmol Radziner’s award-winning restoration of Richard Neutra’s Kaufmann House in Palm Springs in 1998 established the firm’s expertise in preserving midcentury landmarks. Marmol Radziner has since restored works by Albert Frey, R.M. Schindler, John Lautner, and other modernist masters, balancing preservation standards with contemporary needs.
Beyond their restoration work, the firm has distinguished itself through precise construction and diverse services that encompass both intimate private residences and expansive urban developments. Each project builds upon the tenets of modernism, responding thoughtfully to each respective site, emphasizing the interplay between architecture and landscape and the seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living.
In addition to the offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, Marmol Radziner expanded its construction operations to Aspen, Colorado, supporting architectural projects across the Rocky Mountain region. The firm also reintroduced its prefab design services in 2025 to provide homeowners, particularly those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, with efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective rebuilding solutions.
