Celebrated chef and master pasta maker Evan Funke debuts his newest venture, a love letter to the Roman pizzeria in Hollywood.

Chef Evan Funke is famous for his crispy-yet-pillowy focaccia and saucy plates of fresh pasta—and now he’s bringing us a taste of Roman pizza. Cue happy dance.

Fingers Crossed, which opened in Hollywood in August, is a six-month residency that features a socially distant-alfresco dining experience for a real taste of Rome. The outdoor dining is reminiscent of walking down the hidden streets of Rome, with its iron gates and ivy-wrapped walls.

“We can’t travel, and I miss my friends in Rome so Fingers Crossed is a way to stay connected and pay homage to the extraordinary traditional cooking of The Eternal City.”

One of the best parts: Fingers Crossed will be donating a percentage of their profits each month to a different non-profit organization such as the Independent Restaurant Coalition and Black Lives Matter.
