Waitsburg, Washington
Waitsburg, Washington, is a historic farm town of just over 1,200 residents, with an increasingly vibrant community of artists and musicians. Set amid rolling hills blanketed with wheat, barley, and peas, Waitsburg was established in 1865 by Sylvester M. Wait, the town’s namesake, and is just 20 minutes from downtown Walla Walla. Aside from its community hometown Christmas celebration each December, if there’s one thing for which Waitsburg has become well known, it’s a renaissance.
