China Live

China Live is an established, award-winning 30,000-square-foot culinary and cultural destination providing unprecedented access to Greater China gastronomy. Founded by restaurateurs George Chen and his wife, Cindy Wong-Chen, China Live seeks to demystify ingredients and recipes while educating guests on the rich history and influence of Chinese cuisine and culture through its Market Restaurant and Bar, Oolong Café, Retail Market, several bars and lounges, and Eight Tables by George Chen which was selected by TIME Magazine as One of the Greatest Places on Earth in 2018. Our Mission at China Live is to continue to explore the rich cultural history of Chinese cuisine, which is considered one of greatest in the world, by creating and executing interpretive dishes that represent the people and culture of San Francisco.
