Spanning 504 acres, the Resort at Pelican Hill might as well be its own city. Its 332 bungalow-like accommodations are some of the swankiest in Orange County and range in size from one bedroom to four. Golf and lounging in a cabana at the Coliseum Pool are favorite guest pastimes, though free guided hikes through nearby Crystal Cove State Beach are worth the early wake-up call.
