The interior of this spotless Marina bakery was designed by Paxton Gate’s Sean Quigley, which gives it a Mission District feel. As do the Dandelion chocolate bars for sale, and the bearded dude manning the ovens with the mournful sound of Iron & Wine playing in the background. The baked goods are downright excellent. The croissants shatter the way they do in France, though in the real Marais, you probably wouldn’t find a whole roasted banana folded into your pain au chocolat.
